Nature in Art
I have always loved animals and nature having grown up on a smallholding in Cornwall. I have always been my own biggest critic so it took a long time for me to find an art form I felt I was happy to showcase. I have dabbled with photography and painting in the past but leaving teaching due to ill health in 2022 led me to try coloured pencils.
One very steep learning curve thanks to some online tutorials and I received my first request for a pet portrait in 2023.
I fit my drawing in around my full-time job and hope to increase my portfolio and range not that my children are more independent.
In 2025, I added a range of homewares available through my Etsy store and began work on wildlife cartoons aimed at younger children.
Original pieces and limited edition prints are available through the website, homewares are available via Etsy and the craft stall. Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss a commission.
